The Ordeal...Monday part II

The money~I brought my money in cash. I thought it would be pretty funny to pay in one dollar bills, but probably not that funny. So I brought twenties. Jen told me they had a client from Hailey that paid for the complete operation in cash, not just the deposit I paid. She said it was so crazy counting $24 K in twenties. Her desk was covered she says! We enjoyed picturing that.
Back to the "halfway house". Bishop Foote House is one block down from the hospital and patients can stay there before and after procedures. I didn't want to "cleanse" at anybody's house so Ned and I slept in our tiny windowless "cell" and watched Mission Impossible III. I couldn't eat anything but was so excited about my surgery, didn't feel the hunger. I was still savoring the cheesecake! It was going to have to hold me for quite a few months to come.

Good exercise today. Thanks! I might actually have to continue doing this. I've decided I'm totally a track person. I HAVE to be able to know how far I've gone. And it makes me feel better being there knowing that you're not alone somewhere dying of thirst :o)
p.s. Thanks for the watermelon and stuff. I really am a good mom.... I just DIDN'T KNOW!
