I had less than 1,400 calories today. Did not eat frequently enough. But I got a good amount of water down.

Memorized an important part of the Abs diet today. The 12 Power foods. This program is centered around these so I thought it might benefit me to have them locked in my brain

Used the acronym ABS DIET POWER
Almonds and other nuts
Beans and other legumes
Spinach and other greens
Dairy
Instant oatmeal
Eggs
Turkey and other lean meats
Peanut butter (all natural, no sugar)
Olive oil
Whole grain bread
Extra protein (whey)
Raspberries and other berries

Pretty easy! Memorize it~love it

My doctor wants me to keep it under 1000 calories a day and intake 20 grams of protein four times a day. I eat almonds, eggs, tuna (which is high in protein and low in calories and sugar) also canned chicken that I mix like tuna fish (same thing, high protein, low calories and sugar). He also wants me to keep it under 15 tsps of sugar a day. It was pretty hard at first and sometimes I still struggle, but I gave up soda (which I though would kill me, but didn't) and I'm trying to give up the junk food, which I though wouldn't be too hard, but which is a killer for me.

holey buckets! girlfriend are you starving to death ALL the time. that seems REALLY REALLY low. how do you do it? my doc made a goal for me to get 60 grams protein and that's about 70% of all my food being protein. gets a little boring but it seems to be working.
