Yesterday was the first workout post prepatellar bursitis episode

I did a VERY light cardio workout at The Club Monday.

Three minute slow walk warm up. Ten minute easy jog. Two minute cool down walk

The knee didn't give me any fits. Did a good hard lifting workout but going easy on the legs.

All is well.

Today, Tuesday feeling good and needing an endorphine fix so I promise myself and the universe that I'll take it easy.

Throw on my new running skirt (I scammed off the clearance rack for 15 bux) hoping that it's not going to be too short. Yep still QUITE insecure about showing skin. It's nice and sunny so on goes the tanning oil because we all know the only reason to jog outside is to get a tan. Hence the lack of clothing you see on runners. Yep, now you know.

I couldn't stand walking so I kicked it up a notch and all is STILL well. Until I kick it up another notch. Weird tingly sensations in my right knee area slowed me down and I spent the rest of the workout planning my speech to the sports medicine doc about why I needed to learn how to inject cortisone shots into my own knee.

'Cuz there ain't no way I can go the rest of my life without running my guts out. JUST AIN'T HAPPENING!

Anybody know a good "under the radar" s.m. doc that'll hook me up?

Your VERY light cardio workout is my only workout right now. And the 10 minute "jog" is not always a jog. Crap. I'll do better. Keep posting. I need your motivation.
