I wanted to eat out
Went to Boise yesterday and was so excited to eat "out" somwhere.
The boys needed to blow off steam so I dropped them at the kid barn (ie Burger King playland) and went to Rite Aid to pick up my script (more painkillers for this blasted right side wisdom tooth hole). I was looking forward to SOMETHING for luch, just didn't know what? I could have ANYTHING! It didn't have to be kid friendly.
I couldn't get excited about any of the eateries I saw. So I ate my yogurt that I'd brought from home. BUMMER!! Quite a letdown I must say.
But I think it's a big turning point. Food is no longer my entertainment. Still fun to eat something tasty, but it's just not a big deal. WOW! I love that.
Instead, I bought some face cleanser, smelly body wash (good smelly), and was tempted to buy an adorable PINK compact with bling. It was SO cute! I almost rationalized spending seven bucks on a mirror to carry in my purse. But I didn't break down. If I'm still longing for it in two weeks when we next go to Boise, I'll stop and pick it up.
Man! Lots of big milestones for Nichole yesterday.
And the doc says my "hole" is fine. Still having pain is normal so I just gotta tough it out longer. It pretty much stinks! But I'm not letting it get in the way of my workouts anymore. Ran a hard 1/2 hour yesterday. Did heavy leg day Wednesday and a great full body workout today.
All I know is, my deltoids look hot!

That was so hard on me on my trip to Blackfoot. We walked into a well known establishment and there was nothing on the menu that I could eat. Very disturbing. I should've run to the grocery store but I didn't. We were in a hurry and I broke down.
I had better luck for breakfast at the gas station at 6am (nuts & an apple)than I did for lunch. Major adjustment for me. Luckily - living in McCall, we don't eat out that often but those valley trips are killer!
Yep Yep~ya gotta stop at grocery stores or pack your own food. I take a cooler with me EVERYWHERE! Even to church. Went to town w/o my own food and turned into a HAG because I couldn't eat for over five hours. That... in my world? HELL
